About Arpi's Deli
Serving Houston YUMMY! Mediterranean Food Since 1983
West Houston restaurant Arpi’s Phoenicia Deli is a longstanding and beloved spot for gourmet Mediterranean food, renowned for its shawarma sandwiches and other intercontinental menu items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ever since Arpi and her husband, Zohrab, both Armenian-Lebanese immigrants, founded the restaurant in 1983, devoted diners have flocked here for a quintessential Houston lunch: Arpi’s signature shawarma sandwiches. The famed wraps begin with fine cuts of chicken, beef or lamb that are slow-cooked on a rotisserie spit, marinated with Arpi’s special spices, and served in a freshly made pita. Shareable “meze,” a tapas-style fare, and selections of salads, dips, veggies and more are also favorites. The inviting, contemporary atmosphere of Arpi’s Phoenicia Deli incorporates Mediterranean motifs and signature olive tree symbolism, making for a memorable Middle Eastern lunch or dinner in Houston.
Located directly in front of Phoenicia Specialty Foods on Westheimer, Arpi’s Phoenicia Deli is one of the most flexible, full-service restaurants in Houston, offering dine-in, drive-through, takeout and delivery.
